I opened my inbox one morning to find this question from a publicist: “Would you have time to drive the Bugatti Veyron?” Would I have time? Really? Would you believe, uh, yes? And that’s how I found myself at Westlake Village with a black and cream Veryon waiting in the shade of the porte cochère. Yes, it was perfect. It was like getting a date with that frighteningly beautiful woman I’ve had my eye on for a while now, and actually enjoying it. Follow the jump to read about The Day of the Veyron, and check out the gallery of hi-res pics below.
Now we all know about the Veyron and we’ve all surely seen the Top Gear and the celebrity spotting vids, so I…

The availability of a part for your exotic car will vary mightily on exactly what sort of car you own. You stand a better chance of getting the part from the manufacturer with newer models. Step 1:
Take the car to the dealer to see if the part can be ordered from the manufacturer. This first and most obvious option is both the most costly and the most effective for finding the part you need.

Organic distillers, brewers hope eco-sensitive brands will catch on
When sipping that beer or vodka tonic at the next holiday party, take heart: Your revelry may actually be good for the environment.
Or at least that’s the pitch coming from makers of organic tequila, gin, vodka, brandy, beer and wine that are finding their way onto store shelves and fine restaurant menus – all in the name of healthier socializing and being green.
“Sip tequila and save the world, that’s our motto,” said Enrico Caruso, senior vice president of sales for 4 Copas Tequila, a Newport Beach, Calif., maker of tequila that is certified organic by the…

Sex experts are forever saying the key to great sex is all in your head. But for our purposes, let”s look at the other love machine-your body. Mental sex isn”t much good without a body that can deliver the goods the mind has promised itself.
“There”s no doubt that there”s a link between libido and fitness,” says Eric Gronbech, Ph.D., a professor at Chicago State University who researches the link between fitness and libido. Actually, there are two links: First, when you exercise, you prepare your body for better sexual performance. “There”s been evidence to suggest exercise increases your testosterone levels,” says James White, Ph.D., professor emeritus at the University of California, San Diego, and author of The Best Sex of Your Life. Not only…

The Lamborghini line of sports vehicles is one of the most expensive in the world. This Italian automaker has built up a global reputation for sleek designs, powerful engines and pure luxury. You may need to finance a Lamborghini to afford the sticker price and ongoing maintenance.
Step 1:
Pursue a loan, through your Lamborghini dealer, that is geared toward individual consumers. This type of loan is the most common way to finance a Lamborghini and offers monthly payments determined by the total base price and financing rate.
Step 2:
Divert payments on your Lamborghini by adjusting the payment period during financing talks. You can tell your sales person that you want a weekly billing period if you anticipate liquidity in your personal…

There are many advantages to renting an expensive car like a Lamborghini. You can get around in style while on vacation or treat your significant other to a comfortable trip around the neighborhood, without the expense of purchasing a Lamborghini. You need to rent your Lamborghini from the right place to get the best deal.
Step 1:
Examine temporary-insurance policies offered by rental agents before you take a Lamborghini off the lot. You should look at liability limits in your current insurance policy and purchase a rental-insurance policy if these limits are insufficient to cover the value of the car.
Step 2:
Locate Lamborghinis for rent at international dealers in your community. There are few stand-alone Lamborghini dealerships in the United States and…

How Many Have You Tried?
1. Carl’s Jr. Western Bacon Six Dollar Burger |
|
I’m an East Coast kind of guy, but I realize there are no boundaries when it comes to bad foods. So, for this review, I took the advice of 19th Century newspaper editor Horace Greeley who urged, “Go west, young man, go west.”
The Western Bacon Six Dollar Burger will gun you down with 1,130 calories (600 from fat), 66g fat (100% of your Daily Reference Value), 28g saturated fat (140% DRV), 150mg cholesterol, 2,540mg sodium (110%DRV), 83g carbs, and 47g protein.
I’m beginning to understand why it’s called the Wild West! Sorry boys, but…

Many Lamborghini owners are satisfied with the factory-installed accessories on the interiors and exteriors of their cars. The initial excitement about owning a high-performance vehicle may dissipate after you adjust to seeing a Lamborghini in your garage. You can buy Lamborghini accessories from a variety of sources to renew your interest in your investment.
Step 1:
Attend car shows to find accessories to buy for your Lamborghini. These shows will feature local and regional accessory providers who are not necessarily affiliated with Lamborghini. You should ask to see samples of a product to determine its quality and compatibility with your vehicle.
Step 2:
Find Lamborghini accessories at online auctions. You can use auto-auction websites to find shift knobs and rare faceplate covers for…

Let’s face it, it’s hard to improve on perfection. But that’s the challenge you’ll face when trying to pimp an exotic luxury car. If dropping 800 Gs wasn’t quite enough to get you the ride of your dreams, here are some avenues to consider.
Step 1:
Get a custom paint job. You might be reluctant to tinker with the engine, but there’s no harm in altering the exterior. When thinking up wicked paint jobs, your imagination and good taste are the only limits.
Step 2:
Pimp those rims. If you’re worried that your exotic luxury McLaren F1 is a wallflower, give her something to crow about. There are literally thousands of custom rims to choose from.
Step 3:
Customize the interior. There…
